Retailers choses shopping Centers
According to a PwC study for Klépierre, retailers have a preference for… shopping centers. There are three main reasons why retailers prefer this type of location: shopping centers ensure a steady influx of guests and customers, a wide offering of services and entertainment, and a better use of floor space. Thus, retailers have a strong preference for them as long as shopping centers can meet their needs, such as the demand for digitalization. Sixty-four percent of retailers surveyed want data analytics to become mainstream in shopping centers to offer consumers a seamless experience. Klépierre has made meeting this challenge one of its priorities, tapping into the merging of the physical and the digital, which includes event ads and commercial offers on social media, the convergence of online and physical retail stock management, click and collect buying, information services and digital displays.
